The sharp edge speeds up wood boring, while its design prevents chip cling for optimal efficiency. The heat-treated high carbon steel bit's drill point and cutting edge can be resharpened for longer life. Plus, it's compatible with all universal QUIK-LOK extensions via its 1/4in quick-change hex shank. This bit offers a 6in drilling depth but can be used with a 12in extension (48-28-3350) for extended deep-hole drilling (sold separately).
